Did you know that Anglican spirituality played a key part in the development of the 12 Steps? This fall’s small group, Sinners Anonymous, is a walk through the 12 steps of recovery, asking how the famed solution for addiction to alcohol can also help Christians grow closer to God. This is not a course specifically for those who are in recovery, and it’s not a course to learn about recovery either. It’s a method for helping Christians connect with a specific higher power, Jesus Christ, to recover from addiction to sin.
Sinners Anonymous will meet at Pastor Bryan’s house at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings, starting September 18th. All are welcome to join in the fun. Light snacks will be provided. For more information and an address, email EAFLigonier@gmail.com.
