Epiphany will celebrate the arrival of Jesus Christ in the world with a service of Lessons & Carols. Originally crafted in King’s College, Cambridge in 1918, the service was intended to reflect on God’s saving work through the reading of scripture and through song. In times of war, the BBC broadcast the service globally through the radio, turning a small local tradition into a global event. This year, the service turns 100 years old, and it is Epiphany’s great pleasure to host the service for the people of Ligonier.
Arrive with the family after a peaceful Christmas Eve dinner, and come prepared to sing and hear afresh the miracle that God’s chosen method to save the world started with the birth of a child in Bethlehem 2000 years ago.
